Informative, Dramatic, Insightful
Set in Afganistan, spanning the time of, not only, Communist rule, but Taliban rule also. The plight of a bastard daughter in a decidedly male dominated society.

Story is told well, but characters could be filled in with their desires, and thoughts.Shocking that this discrimination exists in 2008!!
