Never in my academic life ( through college) had I heard about the roundup of children and parents in France by the French in collusion with the Nazis...this book was not only informative but certainly very inciteful. We read this book for book club, and, for the most part, everyone enjoyed this book. With one exception, no one in the club had known of the involvement of the French in the Vel d'Hive roundup.
