I read this book and was amazed at how invested I got into the characters. It addressed some very difficult times and experiences of the Jewish people during the Holocaust. It was hard reading and being reminded of the brutality of those events but I found myself not wanting to stop reading because I had to know how Sarah's story would turn out.
