My Reviews
So tired of hearing the same text and story, over and over and over and over again. How many bodies blown apart by WW2 bombs can one read about and shooting Hitler? Really? Could the author not come up with some other life for the protagonist to find, instead of the repetitive life she lived?
Beautifully written book with figurative language.
The descriptions and language were delightful and a pleasure to read, but the characters, although well developed, were so depressing to read about for so many pages. It didn\'t leave you with a good feeling, rather, you felt a bit depressed and down at the end.
It was interested learning about Woodrow Wilson and the u-boat pilot. As there wasn\\\'t that much info on the passengers, I never felt really connected to any of them or their fate, even though it was terribly tragic.
