The story line although sad is in reality the way thing really were in the 50"s. I find it shows us how ugly, unfair and difficult it was for our equal human beings that were not people's "equals" back then but our fellow humans were used as servants because of the color of their skin and because they were less fortunate. The story is really good I could not put it down but it does have a lesson we all need to heed to. I strongly recommend this to anyone at any age.
