The Help was recommended to me by a dear friend, who knew me well. Once I started I could not put it down. I enjoyed the charachter development, drawing of class lines, and eye opening awareness of the protagonist. It was one of those books that you rush to finish because you need to know how it ends and then you are sorry that you did not savor it just a bit longer.
