I admit, I got caught up in all the Twilight Saga books & didn't think any other book would compare. A friend recommended The Help & I started reading it... and could not put it down. It's a realistic tale of three different people as they lived in the early 1960's. Yes, it was before my time, but it grabbed my attention & I turned each page with much anticipation to see how Skeeter, Aibileen or Minny made it through each day, week, month or year. This book was the authors' debut novel & a bit of a personal memoir for her & I thank her so much for sharing such a wonderful story.
