During our book club party, each person shed a tear or two when discussing the book. We really identified with the characters, especially Enzo, the television-watching dog who dreams of becoming a man. He likes to use race car metaphors as he shares the story of his owner, a race car driver who is experiencing heart-wrenching struggles in his life.
