I was hesitant to choose this book last month for our club, but on my son's strong recommendation took a leap of faith and suggested it to the members. Our club has read most of the books on your highest-rated list, but several of us declared Unbroken our favorite book ever. We were amazed and inspired by the man and his story. We felt like we knew the people and their families and really cared about what happened to them during and after the period covered in the book. This book deserves 6 stars!
