Our book club found so many things to discuss about this book. We as a group were apalled with David's decision to give his daughter with Down's Syndrome away,telling his wife she had died. Some of us were very angry with him. We also understood why he made that decision. We all agreed that the authors style of writing was captivating. There are some slow parts of the story & some large time jumps which were frustrating, but overall we were in love with the story.

Our entire club loved this book. One of our besat discussions ever.
