Kathryn Stockett is a fantastic writer, i look forward to seeing what else she writes after this. I loved all the characters and what they brought to the novel. I wanted to beat Hilly with a bat. And slap Elizabeth in the face to make her love her daughter. Aibileen was soft and loving, i adored her. I liked how Minny held her own towards the white women she worked for even though she was fired often, I was happy when she left her abusive husband. I enjoyed all the. Love Skeeter had for the maids, and how she just wanted friendship with them. Skeeter wasn't trying to be a saint, but she ended up helping out a lot of people anyway.
