Dramatic, Interesting, Insightful
Enjoyed the book but it could have been better

I really enjoyed this book; the story was heartbreaking. But the highly descriptive language ultimately created distance between the characters and the reader. And the ending was disappointing.

I loved this book. What a fascinating family. Makes you look at the power and danger of family dynamics and how it shapes you.
