The Language of Flowers: A Novel by Vanessa Diffenbaugh

Insightful, Beautiful, Interesting
The Language of Flowers

The fact that flowers were used to convey messages was very interesting, however, the main character was too disfuntional. It was difficult to believe that she would have become a successful business person while going through her struggles & that she would abandon her child without much thought. The only thing that kept me reading was the hope that she would do the right thing. I think the author could have made the book more inspiring by playing off all of the characters positive aspects.
