My Reviews
This one was interesting to me as a 2nd generation immigrant and as an educator. The pace was slow, but many poignant moments.
Alice wakes up after a bump on the head thinking that she's 29 and blissfully happy... only to find out that she's 39, has 3 children and is going through a messy divorce. I couldn't wait to find out what happened. I was rooting for "young Alice" and her idealism and at the same time, knew that when her memory came back, so would the realism of "older Alice." I was a little disappointed with the ending. I felt it was wrapped up too quickly. I'm not going to say more, because I don't want to give anything away. All I can say is that it was a very enjoyable read!
