This novel,of a family in crisis is excellent. The Frankel family has gathered at the family's summer home for the memorial for their youngest son and brother who died in Iraq a year ago. Each of his 3 sisters have unresolved issues with their partners/spouses and with each other. Their parents have each struggled with their grief separately and appear to be separating after 42 years. Sad with comic moments this is a well written novel where the reader really empathizes with each of the characters
