Everyone in our book club agreed that it was an easy book, an ok book, but that there were so many things this author could have done to make it better. Characters seemed flat and undeveloped. Some things in the book had no value and other things with great value were not developed. The title gave you an impression there would be much more in the way of history of the Orphan Train. It has spurred some of our group to do more research on the subject!
