Faster than "Catching Fire" and nice close to the series
This book was a wonderful conclusion to the Hunger Games series. Like the other books it was fast paced, you literally could not put it down. As in the earlier books it uses the "hunger games", a clever adaptation of a greek myth, to explore aspects of human nature and survival. We appreciated that the author brought the story to an ending too. Letting you know what happened to all the characters.
I enjoyed Mokingjay. I thought it was good way to finish off the series. The Hunger Games was the best of the 3 books but this was good.
Not as good as the first book, The Hunger Games, but a good read
Overall I thought that this book was OK. I was slightly disappointed in this book because the other two left me wanting more whereas this book I couldn't wait for it to end.
Didn't want to wait to read this after finishing the other two. Overall, it wasn't quite as good as the other two but still a very quick read. I'm glad to finally know the conclusion of the story - but a little sad there are no more.
This book had so much, yet I feel at times it was rushed so it left out details of circumstances just to end a book. Or I could feel that way because I just didn't want it to end.
It had you on the edge of your seat the whole time, always wanting to flip the page, hoping, dreading, hoping...It had a heavy feeling the whole time just waiting for something great to happen. I like everything about how the author put us through all of that, because how can you sugar coat or make happy endings for everyone with a subject like this?!
I loved it!
I loved this trilogy so much I could have started it over immediately after finishing the last page. Great storytelling!
Basically if you have read the first two you have to read this but it is rushed and not as good as the others. I was not completely satisfied with it.
I found book 3 of the Hunger Games Trilogy a good ending to the Trilogy. For the first time in awhile I found closure and felt like there were no loose ends to a collection of books.
Loved this series of books. The third one was the best
