I had this as a text book for a class I took a number of years ago on the Vietnam War. I have to say that I genuinely enjoyed this book. It talks about the things soldiers carry to war with them, both tangible, and intangible.

This is an important book. Readers young and old are challenged and potentially benefit from wrestling with the idea of what the author calls Story Truth vs. Happening Truth.
