Introduction

(When Shiloh, a popular female Country-western singer, disappears in the Quetico-Superior Wilderness, former Sheriff Cork O'Connor is called upon by her father to find her. There are more than two-million acres of forest, white water rapids, and hundreds of uncharted islands of wild Canadian/American borderlands to search. The search party includes an ex-con, two FBI Agents, and a ten-year old boy. Others are on her trail too; men not only hired to find her, but kill her. As Cork's party continues searching, menacing strangers drift into Aurora, with violence brewing in the cold winter air and on town streets. Meanwhile, out on the Boundary Waters, winter falls hard and sudden. Cork's team loses contact with civilization, and like the brutal Minnesota blizzard, death surrounds and stalks them. Read by Jerry Sciarrio. 10.8 hrs.
