"Enjoyable due to the unique subject; well written, interesting and personal. It was not a page turner, but a nice read."by s c. (see profile) 08/25/08

"This is the best story of sister love i've ever read"by Kerri F. (see profile) 07/18/08

I've read hundreds and hundreds of books, and this stands out in my top 5. The first paragraph was stunning, and moved me to tears. I loved their Aunt so much... without her those girls would have been... (read more)

  "LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"by Carrie H. (see profile) 09/13/07

I'm surprised at some of the reviews of this stirring, emotional book. Strange subject matter but after a while you don't think of "The Girls" as conjoined. Loved it and didn't want it to end.

"Interesting topic- well explored"by Marlo D. (see profile) 08/08/07

This book has the feel of a true memoir, although a work of fiction. I really enjoyed getting into minds of each conjoined twin and seeing their individuality come through.

"Only Ok... didn't stimulate much conversation..."by Brandi M. (see profile) 08/08/07

We talked about it, but it wasn't that interesting of a conversation. The book was only so-so... not a page-turner by any means, but readable.

"Interesting read on the life of conjoined twins."by Lisa P. (see profile) 07/16/07

I loved how both sisters wrote from their points of view in the book. I felt like I got to know these unique girls and their struggles of being conjoined, but also the unique love they share.
