Introduction
A Tale of Two Princesses (A Fairytale)
When Princess Celeste learns her hand in marriage has been given away to Prince Cross, a man whom she has never met, she rebels against her mother, the queen. She refuses to meet him, to see him, to dance with him at the masquerade ball.
The princess' maid, hoping to save the princess from embarrassment, sends out a servant girl in her place, with orders to woo the prince, and with a mask to hide her face, and the same golden hair on her head, no one is the wiser. But the servant girl may have done too good a job, losing her own heart while trying to win the prince's.
After the prince meets the real princess, nothing about her seems the same, but the memories of their dance hold his love, and as the servant girl watches him from afar, she may not be able to hold her silence.
