The book is written in 3rd person plural, an unusual voice in literature. Why do you think Brown chose this?
Do you have sisters? Do you see simiilarities in your relationships to Rose, Bianca and Cordy?

To what extent did the parents' parenting create the situations the adult daughters found themselves in? Did the parents enable the flaws in character of the daughters?
How can one love without liking?
How are our relationships with others colored by our assumptions about them? How do others' assumptions about us affect our self-image?

Which sister is your favorite? Why? Which sister do you most identify with? Are they the same character?
When you first saw the title, The Weird Sisters, what did you think the book would be about? What do you think the title really means?
Do you have any siblings? If so, in what way is your relationship with them similar to the relationship among the Andreas sisters? In what way is it different?

"Strange style, good story"by Joan O. (see profile) 04/23/16

The author's style was a little difficult, first-person "we" and never sure who "we" was, but the story and characters were well-done and interesting. Lots to discuss.

  "Wierd Sisters"by Krista R. (see profile) 03/20/16

Very fun. Could relate to all sisters in some way. Simple but kept my interest

"The Weird Sisters"by Belinda H. (see profile) 06/02/14

I had a hard time like , or connecting with the characters. It wrapped up a bit too quickly and neatly at the end for my taste.

"The Weird Sisters"by Blair E. (see profile) 05/28/14

Great character development, but not much as far as a plot is concerned. It left me with a good feeling.

  "Weird Sisters"by Susan W. (see profile) 01/28/14

  "A Fun Read"by Paula W. (see profile) 01/07/14

Enjoyed this book. I would highly reccomend it to anyone.

"The Weird Sisters"by Jill F. (see profile) 11/09/13

It spurred a fun conversation in our group about birth order and the quirks in our own families.

I love the perspective that this book was written in, it was different and quite refreshing! Nice touch! However, the majority of my book club didn't like the book so I had to give it a thumbs down. It... (read more)
