Three Teens, committed and sentenced to spend time locked away in a mental institution, suddenly answer an impulse to escape. Travel with them, as they blaze their own trail through the wild of California, eventually seeking refuge and solace in Yosemite National Park. Hiding out in the park, avoiding the authorities and parents, these teens rebuild a life for themselves with nothing but their wits and ingenuity.
