What was one of your favorite parts of the book? Share a paragraph you especially like and explain why.
There are several characters that are bigger than life - discuss Peter Lake, Pearly Soames, Beverly Penn and of course Athansor.
There is brutal realism in this book, combined with supernatural fantasy. Did you enjoy the way the author was able to weave the two together? Were you able to suspend your disbelief and enjoy the story as it unfolds?

Winter\\\'s Tale has everything
by l0ve2READ (see profile) 01/29/14

Again, not a book club book...but highly recommended by me.

A friend gave me this book; I had only known Helprin from his Bob Doyle campaign writing days...had no idea he was such a pro
