Five abducted girls. An unlikely pair of homicide detectives. A killer who is evil incarnate.... Philadelphia cop Jessica Balzano has just been promoted to Homicide, partnered with veteran detective Kevin Byrne, known for his unorthodox ways-and for catching killers most cops could never touch. Together the two must hunt down a madman who's preying on Catholic schoolgirls, using them as pawns in his own twisted passion play before brutally taking their lives. As the victim toll mounts, it becomes clear that the "Rosary Killer" is as cunning as he is vicious. Now Byrne, haunted by demons from his past, and Balzano, a determined rookie and single mom in the midst of a divorce, are sure of one thing: this monster must be stopped-before another innocent girl dies for his sins.
