Otto Lidenbrock, a German mineralogy professor, found in an ancient book a piece of parchment. After decoding the words, he started an adventure to the center of the earth with his nephew and Icelander Hans. they went down in one volcano on Iceland, overcoming all kinds of difficulties such as in short of water, getting lost, storms and high temprature. Eventually they went back on the ground through a volcanic erruption. This time they found themselves in Sicily Italy. Back to Germany, they became heroes in peoples eyes. The achievements of the professor got acknowledged and his nephew married his beloved lady and Hans went back to his hometown in Iceland.
