He gave her a slow appraisal, his gorgeous lips forming another rakish smile. “Now… About our evening together tomorrow.”

Our evening together. Her heart thumped in her chest. “Yes?”

“Can I pick you up here at eight?”

She nodded, her heart beating madly.

“Parfait.”

Yes, it really was perfect.
