For the last half century, seaside residents of Onset Village have tried to forget the murder of the beautiful twenty-five year old tourist who came to bathe by the sea and dance at the Casino Ballroom. But after the trial and surprising acquittal of one of their own, they wonder if the killer still lives among them. When broadcast journalist, Samantha Scott, purchases the Victorian cottage on South Boulevard, she finds herself in the middle of the cold case with enough evidence to solve the almost perfect murder.
