The book lists foods (gold fish, junior mints, hotdogs, foo foo appetizers, etc) and drinks (margarita in a can, beer, prosecco) enjoyed by The Sycamore renters and Brunch Ladies. Not all will appeal (lunchables?!) but using either a brunch setting, BBQ, or a mix of the two (I used mix) led to more conversation about the book and how we felt about the characters, not to mention the food.
