Greithens can not only live life to the fullest, but he can write about it! This young man started his journey during college with humanitarian visits to orphanages in war torn countries. His strong sense of duty and commitment took him through the superhuman training to become a Navy Seal. How he combines these two disciplines to become an humanitarian warrior will keep you glued to the pages of The Heart and the Fist.
How often we don't walk that "extra mile!" But Harold did, and the lessons he and his wife learned about love are lessons for us all.
there was much to be said for tackling such a complex subject, and I thought the author did it very well. However I felt the husband was not real, as if he had been created to fill in the holes. The rest of the family seemed real to me.
a harrowing story of Americans in London During the bombing in World War II: Edward R. Murrow, Hugh Winamt (ambassador to England, ) and Averill Harriman
i didn\'t want to read about crew rowing, not interested. This incredible book is about life, about history, and about the best and the worst of humanity. I could not put it down, and want to re read it. An inspiring story.
Galileo's daughter was a remarkable woman. His story is impressive but hers is incredible considering the times and circumstances of her life. How sad that her writings were destroyed.
