While the writing style might be a little overwhelming for some, the cleverness of how the author connects the characters makes this a brilliant novel. It\'s sort of like playing \"six degrees of Kevin Bacon\" and causes the reader to consider the people who cross their path on a daily basis and how those people are connected to others they might know. In the book there are several times when a different conversation could have revealed secrets sooner, but that\'s not how life works.
