My Reviews
10 members read the book and all agreed they would recommend to others. They liked how the story moved back and forth between the two main characters - Viv and Molly. Only one of our members was familiar with the orphan trains prior to reading the book. An interesting piece of our American history.
A sweet story, reminiscent of our childhood in the South. We had fun talking about the book and telling stories of our own summers! Brought back good memories of family and friends.
Beautifully written story.
The characters in the book brought Ernest Hemingway to life. Interesting to read about life in Key West during the depression and after WW1.
Count Rostov is a delightful character!
