Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison by Piper Kerman
Informative, Interesting, Insightful
Orange is New BlackHaving worked in a Maximum security forensic facility, I found her stories to be very manipulated for the public enjoyment. She had money and influence to purchase survival in prison. One big truth was well presented...that we will be held accountable for our crimes eventually. Overall her book was insincere and cheap.
What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty
Book Club Recommended
Fun, Insightful, Interesting
What Alice ForgotPleasantly reflective story about how circumstances in our lives change us. Alice was accidentally returned to her old self and forced to come to terms with the quite different woman she had become. She was given a "do-over"!
The Red Door Inn: A Novel (Prince Edward Island Dreams) by Liz Johnson
Romantic, Boring, Unconvincing
