Abuse, in any form, colors our world and our relationships. I loved this author and her ability to show the difficulty that comes with trying to open yourself up to life after tough events crush your spirit. In Language of Flowers, you\\\'ll find yourself rooting with your heart for these characters to find their way to real, fulfilling life.

This book is difficult to read, not only because of the excessive detail written into each interaction, but because the reader has to ask at every turn, \\\"is this truth or fiction?\\\" There are many books and stories out there worth the time and effort of reading, this is not one of them.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I savored each word as I wound my way through the lives of these characters. The writing is almost lyrical. The author takes you on an epic journey through the highs, lows and in-betweens of a strong, closely knit family and you when you finally leave them, you are all the better for having known them. These are stories that will stay with you. To say nothing of the beautiful language used to describe each emotion and situation. This is a book to be savored and loved.
