It is truly amazing to think that one day this will happen and I know it will. I could not foresee what McCarthy saw but in reading the book now I can visualize that someday we have a world in darkness and utter despair. It is a brutal book about what can happen when there is a nuclear holocaust of the world, hopelessness will lead men to commit any act to survive. The ending does not let you know what the future is but there is much to discuss about this, either way, whether there is a future or not. I loved this book because it made me think.
