My Reviews
Dramatic, Epic, Brilliant
It was a good 1st book club for me with Mr. Twain in attendance. It is not about how Hank got there...but rather a vehicle for Twain's political and social commentaries. His highly descriptive tail-spinning is most amazing. I see why he lives on!
Somebody Else's Kids by Torey L. Hayden
An especially good read for teachers and for parents too.
Remembering it was written some 25 years ago...it is interesting for teachers to compare and evaluate how life in special education is today...much more advocacy now...but still always depends on the teacher's attitude!
