My Reviews
This was a fun book that led us to think about what would be on our lists of 25 things to do. It actually got us talking about all kinds of lists. We also talked about contuing on with a person's project once they die and that was an interesting discussion. It was an entertaining and quick book to read at a busy time of year. Next we will be reading "The Thirteenth Tale."
This book illustrates the power of stories to shape our lives. Stories can omit, include and modify parts of our lives to the point of us disappearing. This book was engaging and I truly enjoyed every page. It was difficult to put down.
This book helped create a great discussion between all of the group members. We shared stories of people we've know that have struggled with addiction. It also got us talking about what we think about the disease model and other ideas associated with addiction. This is the best book I think our group has read.
