This was the best discussion I've ever attended in 9 years of attending book discussion groups because the ending wasn't certain and even the characters weren't certain and so there was lots of interesting speculation.

We didn't feel she fleshed out the characters nor did she give us a good sense of the time which we were looking for. Those of us who finished it were then very unhappy at the end when the author told us she had made up the letters in the book between Zelda and Scott rather than taking the actually letters that have been published to include.
