My Reviews
John Grishom knows how to weave a mystery. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, new information comes into play and all bets are off. I borrowed from the library the audio book so that my husband could enjoy the plot during our 2 week road trip. He thoroughly enjoyed our road trip more so by listening to this mystery.
Slow in many points, then very hectic. I love art history and learned a few things.
I had never heard of the orphan trains prior to reading the book. Now, I want to visit the museum in Concordia KS.
The author did her homework with the genocide in the death camps, Nazi SS intimidation, the propaganda of the Nazi regime, and the correlation with an evil such as vampires.
It was a book of sage advice, and insightful. A very easy read at 190 pages. I like the change in genre.
I could hardly put the book down. I was amazed at Hamilton's accomplishments and how US citizens owe so much to this founding father of our country. I applaud Mr Chernow for his research and creating such a fun read. It could have been factual and boring, but it was well written.
