My Reviews
Light read. Good for summer reading
This is a book of many short stories and poems by various authors. There were only a few that I enjoyed out of a very thick book. The poetry in it was not to my taste.
It was an inspiring book about how life changing a little kindness, love and support can change the course of another's life. It prompted much discussion amongst the members of my club which was what a good book should do.
This book could not keep my attention until the last third of the book. It then became enjoyable but was a struggle to read the first part.
This book was not liked by any of us, but I have to say we had the most lengthy and interesting conversations about it. The questions were thought provoking and interesting at the end of the book.
This book is one of those you cannot put down once you start it.
Excellent book based on actual history though written as a novel.
I can't describe by checking any box above. Though most in our club liked it I was disturbed by the prejudice displayed twice by page 67, so did not continue.
