Classic British mystery by world's best known mystery writer. Hercule Poiort is a wonderful character and plot well done.

The Goldfinch

If you like 700 + pages of drug use and wasted life this book is for you. The main character never changes gains insight or improves, he just wallows. On the positive side you can skip or skim many pages because it just is more drug use, throwing up and drinking.
