My Reviews
Did not know what to expect, throughly enjoyed the book. Would recomend to anyone.
Good group discuss, a variety of interpretations to events in the book, mostly focusing on how much did the children really know? At the end we discussed if this book was really a children's book. We decided yes, but that depending on the children's age a guided study would probably work best for intermediate elementary students.
I enjoyed the book and found that I did not want to stop reading.
I enjoyed the book, but when our club meet and we began discussing the book, we all had a greater appreciation and understinding of the complexities of the book.
Do not give up, it took me 100 pages to "get into" the story, but once hooked, I could not put it down. Complex, thank you for the family tree.
Enjoyed the book, historic fiction, but true to how the whites treated the Indians. I got to book vii and I hoped for a different ending.
