My Reviews
"She goes out into the garden...There's a full moon. And another vision. She sinks to her knees on the lawn. Jack's words fill the sky, verse after verse. Only to crumble line by line until they are nothing more than a jumble of letters which then go their separate ways, back into the universe from whence they came."
Love the phrasing used in this paragraph.
September Ends is as well choreographed as it is well written. The characters of Liz, Pete and Jack are so real, you will feel that you know them, or that you have had a similar experience of love and loss. You will want to add this to your TBR list.
Excellent book for children.
I loved this book. I look forward to more books by DK Cassidy.
Captivating read in which Stevie Turners writes about kidnapping from the perspective of several characters. Engrossing. Highly recommend.
September First is the prequel to September Ends. Poets Jack O. Savage and Indie Shadwick share a love, struggle with inner demons and deal with passion and tragedy. Short dramatic read, but what a story.
Sometimes good things happen when you least expect them. Love finds a way. This story will make you sigh. Wonderful, sexy read.
May Day - a super exciting read. Timely and believable. Can't wait for second in the series!!!! Thom - keep it up!
So many wonderful authors pulling together their works into one box set is fantastic.
Tightly written and packed full of intrigue, mystery and action.
Fantastic collection of short stories that will stay with you.
I found it impossible to put down. Franchesca meets Damon quite by chance when she’s injured while running. Surprised by the immediate attraction, but willing to see where it goes a hot, steamy romance begins. But as we know, things don't run smoothly and these characters, need to draw on the deep emotional connection between them to keep it together. A must read.
This story reminded me of what it is like to be young again.
Epic and beautifully interwoven characters and sub-plots. Great book, kept me interested from beginning to end.
Detective Brett Cornell is once again, in trouble. Sexist, out-spoken and non-politically correct he lives life his way, whether others like it or not. Want to laugh out loud and be entertained? This is the book for you.
48 Hours til Christmas takes place in Smoothville, Georgia just before the Christmas Extravaganza. However, even Christmas doesn't stop political strife and ill will created from the recent Mayoral election. Residents are at odds with each other, friendships strained and broken trust create a black cloud over Smoothville.
This story will get you into the true Christmas spirit as the characters struggle and over-come the scrooge-like atmosphere.
I loved this story, and I think you will too.
Christine Ardigo's first book is fabulous. I will be watching for all of her books. You will be lost in this book the second you hit page 1.
In Cheating to Survive, Christine masterfully intertwines the lives and loves of three co-workers/sometimes friends as they each struggle and try to master the trials of marriage. This story is true to life and while you may not agree with some of the actions with the characters, that is exactly what true life is all about.
Anthony Hulse is the master of thrilling stories. Grab this book, hang on to your seat and read an engaging, thrilling ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Liberty or Death is a wonderful, short historical novella. It’s about Ireland's Great Rebellion and Major Lorn Mullone whose mission of discovery takes him through thick and thin. Multi-faceted character and brilliant descriptions made this a very interesting read.
Black Magic Man is a wonderful story by author Ju Ephraime. Solange, or Lange to her friends, and her husband Rupert are deeply in love. Living on the island of St. Lucia, Lange draws the attention of a Black Magic Man. And then things get weird.
Jean Louis, the Black Magic Man has become obsessed with Lange. Using his dark magic to engage her, he realizes this may have been a mistake. Lange is a strong willed woman who loves her husband. Can she beat the Black Magic Man? Is love enough? The only way to find out is to read this fabulous story.
If you love country music, Nashville, musicians and the people that surround them, you'll love this story of Dallas Fortune. Dallas is interesting, reflective and determined to find her own way.
You'll love this story!
A romance with a difference. Wonderful plot, interesting characters, great read.
