My Reviews
I really enjoyed reading about the culture of Nepal and different areas Of Nepal such as Humla. The tale of the lost children is interesting, sad and happy. It makes me appreciate where I live. I was compelled to read it until the end.
An interesting read that lead to many great discussions.
Didn\\\'t want to put it down. Some very freaky characters.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It made me think a lot about being a woman and how some in our society blame women for their problems. It was great for discussion.
Interesting book about Huntington's disease, it's progress and effect on family. Made me think about life and would I choose to know if I have the disease or not.
Didn't want to put it down. I saw the clues only later on.
Interesting read. A lot to talk about with the book club.
Nicely written in the "back and forth" in time model typical of many books. Sad but it eventually all works out.
Loved this memoir because it is so interesting to look into other upbringings so different from mine and what a huge role family and religion played into her life.
