I never read it as a child... it is really good! Some of the newer books. Really gets you thinking. :)
It should make for a better movie than a book. I liked how the author spoke through the character, although the characters weren't developed very well. I was interested throughout the story to see what direction the main character took, but several of the things that happen in the story are for nothing. That being said, I still am interested in seeing the movie.... at redbox... not in theaters.
Interesting enough read...I bought the second to see what happens. I wasn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t in love with the writing style and modern day comparisons used in her writing. I listened to a portion of the audio for this book and maybe it ruined it for me! I had a hard time imagining drake and he\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'d feelings for him weren\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t nearly the painted picture we got for the barbarian :)
