My Reviews
This was history I did not know, even though I am a native Northwesterner. The rowing sequences put me on the edge of my seat even when I knew the outcome in advance. The boys in the boat have amazing backstories, and the history is woven throughout the story masterfully.

Beautifully written and heartfelt insights into people struggling through cancer treatment; sisterly dynamics; and lots of food (Lizzy is a chef). One of those books that made me excited to have found a new author, and look forward to her next book.
This book is hilarious, though I muttered OMG several times at thoroughly bad decisions made. Scenes at a 7-11 were laugh out loud. Someone in my book group compared it to Breaking Bad in its dark humor.
These characters will stay with you after you finish the book. The author weaves the three characters' stories beautifully.
Some witty social commentary, but overall not my favorite read.
