Too long winded, would probably have been a much better book if it were at least 100 pages shorter. Descriptions of the icy vistas and the diet choices of the people in the story were interesting, but too much time was devoted to things in heroines life that had nothing to do with the actual story. As a mystery it did not grab me, it did not have me asking "who dun it"? I really did not care about the characters or who killed them. The plot was too convoluted and there were too many loose ends even at the end of the book.
