My Reviews
Most of our club said they could not put "Unbroken" down once they started it. Great book...the movie does not do it justice, but was still good.
Kind of slow and bogged down in details to start, but very informative on several levels. If you are not interested in history of WW I, and specifically the Lusitania it may be a difficult read.
At times I was very upset with myself for not being able to read faster to see what happens next. Difficult subject matter, but handled brilliantly by the author.
Generates great discussion for a book club. Very thought provoking, especially in light of present issues of exclusion and intolerance.
