This book is both inspiring and frustrating and will inspire lively if not heated discussion about poverty, opportunity, and how people face challenges and cope with the forces that surround them. I found this book to be deeply moving and ultimately very sad. However, it also reminded me that the effects of poverty are far reaching and very complex.
