My Reviews
This story starts out as smooth as a pond on a warm summer day. The writer takes you right into the story.... I mean she grabs you and pulls you in. There is no turning back... For me there was no putting it down. I needed to read more. I felt like a silly school girl as Samantha describes her fascination with Jonathan.
I liked that there was not many gory scenes and the dialog was often really funny and clever which held my interest. I loved the real life emotion, the ongoing humor and the modern day references. The writing is so sharp that at times I had to re-read the sentence. Not because I didn't understand it but because I thought it to be so clever.
"Agency Rules - Never an Easy Day at the Office" by Khalid Muhammad is an intriguing, intense thriller. It’s a spy novel that is not quite like anything else that I have read. The story-line moved me and pulled me in. I found this to be a thrilling escape with mystery and suspense. The Pakistan backdrop was so well described that I could actually visualize the landscaping. This is a heavy book that will leave you guessing at every turn. This author has written a wildly compelling story that is not only smart but it delivers.
Action packed, realistic and thought provoking, I was entertained all the way through. It packs a punch with depth. I would highly recommend.
Shadow Over Avalon is an unusual book that caught my attention, grabbed hold and didn’t let go until the very last page. I loved the ongoing adventure that was both thrilling, entertaining and wildly suspenseful.
This is a well developed story with great characters and extremely good writing. So much creativity and imagination. Pretty mind blowing if you ask me. This futuristic tale took me by surprise and brought me to a completely different time and place. How I loved the surprises. This story moved at a quick pace as there was never a dull moment. Surprising since I am not much of a fantasy or science fiction fan. The writing was enough to keep me glued to the pages. Loving every minute. This is a smart story that will take you places you never imagined existed. I would highly recommend this great tale if you are looking for a great escape with a great unpredictable plot. I love how the different story lines come together. Very clever. I would read more from this author. Without a doubt. So enjoyable.
"Dog Days of Summer" by PJ Fiala is a romance story that is dynamic and full of life. The author tells a striking tale that was easy to fall into from the first page. I got lost into the story and the chemistry between the characters. This is a biker love story that made me feel like I was there with them. This was a total uplift that had me racing through the pages. There are so many realistic dynamics that pulled me into the drama.
This book has a riveting storyline that entertained me all the way through. Watch out for some very warm scenes! What am I saying? They were not warm. They were red hot!!! I really enjoyed the escape that was Dog Days of Summer. So much fun!
Rhapsody in Paris is the final book in the LaCasse series by Ju Ephraime. I enjoyed this book so much. Without reading the others I was able to get right into the story. The author does a flawless job taking you right in. Didn’t feel like I was missing anything. Just made me want to go back from the beginning. The writing is done with an effortless style and I fell in love with Franchesca from the start. I could feel her emotional struggles and was right there with her. When there is passion there is often pain and in this case that is what our main character goes through.
It felt so nice to be taken to France. I could live vicariously through these characters. The authors ability to take you there was evident as I felt I could be walking the streets of Paris. It added to the romance and the charm. This was an easy escape to take. One that I would recommend. Highly.

review Conduit grabs hold and doesn’t let go until the end. I was swept away by the never ending drama, mystery and intrigue. Glued to the pages. Very interesting premise that unfolds before your eyes in the most entertaining way. It was easy to get caught up in this psychological thriller that is filled with mystery and intense knock em out of the park scenes. One after another. What if you had psychic abilities and knew you were being stalked by a serial killer but you didn’t know where he was or how to stop him?
"Hi, My Name is Bobo" is an adorable little story that charmed me. It's fun to go back and see the life of a fifth grader. Gosh how I remember those days with "Super Friends" on Saturdays and Bugs Bunny. I enjoyed the ride back in time. Funny the things you forget until you are reminded once again.
I love the relationship between the two brothers and the family. Especially enjoyed the old photos. Makes you feel you are a part of Bobo's life. I found this story to be touching and heartwarming. A quick, delightful, entertaining read.
The Meat Market without a doubt got my attention. I couldn’t help but be entertained and engrossed throughout. The author has a unique writing style that I found intriguing and alluring, that certainly did not hold back as you will find out!

The writing was clear, crisp, and natural with a gripping story that kept me guessing all the way through. Before reading this book I had very little knowledge of the Spanish Civil war. Mateguas Island, by Linda Watkins, took hold and did not let go. This book was so well written that I believed that it all was happening. This is jaw dropping, suspenseful and full of life. We are brought right into the action and this story has been on my mind ever since I started reading. Bone chilling and startling, in a good way, of course. This book was so entertaining that I had to finish. Was so involved with the characters and the drama that was playing out.
Mateguas Island is full of suspense that had me gasping to myself. You have to hold on as the tension builds and builds. Everything that is happening feels realistic. I was read at top speed hoping for a happy resolve though I feared for the worse.
There is horror that will shock you and entertain you. This well written book is a heart thumping thriller that I would highly recommend to any adrenaline junkies or someone who just likes a great horror story.

The Master's Plan by Stephany Tullis is an inspiring read that moves at a fast pace. I really enjoyed this story and read with gusto wanting to know the outcome. The author tells a very compelling story. This book dealt with real life-like struggles. Some I could surely relate to. The story had me thinking about my own life. I found this hit home. Very realistic. Issues such as fidelity, belief systems, relationships and trust are brought to the forefront. The church politics of Smoothville, Georgia were at times laugh out loud funny. So much hypocrisy.
The Master’s Plan shares a positive message as the main character, Selena searches for fulfillment. This book is not just about Christianity and it is not at all preachy. It’s about being good and doing good. I find that inspiring.
